This historic battlefield from 1862 was the site of many losses, and is believed to be haunted by the ghosts of soldiers. Witnesses have reported hearing phantom gunfire and shouts, drum beats and war songs here and some say they've even seen a historic scene being acted out. The visitors assumed they were watching reenactors, until the soldiers disappeared right before their eyes.

So, we stayed at an Air BNB nearby on Halloween night, We then heard a fire from a canon on the Sharpsburg battlefield property, Don't know if it was just someone firing a canon at night for whatever reason but it sure is spoooooooooooooky!!!!! Then my mom was tapped on the shoulder multiple times in her sleep, but everyone else was sleeping in other beds.
