This bridge was built in 1865 and is rumored to be haunted by ghostly slaves. Some say if you enter the bridge, you'll see their bodies hanging from the rafters. Others say this story isn't true, as the bridge was built after the end of slavery and the Civil War. A ghostly woman has also been spotted walking along the bridge wearing old-fashioned clothing.

This stretch of road is located near the battle site of Antietam and is known for a strange phenomenon. Stories say if you put your car in neutral while at the base of the hill, ghosts of Confederate soldiers will push it back up the incline. Stories say the Witch's Grave can be found at Truxton Park, in the woods past the third baseball field, near a slanted tree. Stories say the witch was buried here in the 1800s but escaped from her grave, never to be seen again. On Halloween night, the bodies of her victims are rumored to hang from the trees.

This state park was once a Civil War prison camp called Camp Lincoln. There is a lighthouse on the premises that is said to be haunted by a Civil War soldier who has appeared leaning against the door frame in photos that are taken here. A woman's apparition has also been spotted searching for her grave, she sometimes even asks visitors to help her find it.

This wildlife refuge is made up of 27,000 acres of forest, tidal marshes and ponds that are believed to be haunted by a demon mule.
